Default New to Cherokeeforum.com! Looking for some advice!

Hello. I am new to this forum and I知 looking to have a good time and learn a little things along the way. I am looking to buy a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland. *Yes I知 a newbie to Jeeps* but as a first car I think that it is a excellent choice. But not having some life experience like a lot of the gentlemen on here, I need a little of friendly advice. Thanks guys, cool to be on here. Master Oz.

kinda pricey for a first car, i say you get a nice 97-99 cherokee and save some money, i was also looking through my uncles consumer report book thing and those got some poor ratings

You know I was told to search around for the 97's and 98's but I can't really say that I like them all that much. I think it makes the Cherokee look to much like the Wrangler, which doesn't agree with me. Now from the year 99 and on, I would buy em' all if I could!

Are you talking about grands only? I do not recall a grand that I thought resembled a wrangler at all. That's just me, though. Besides, I am a fan of almost everything Jeep.......that has straight axles in the front

Well sure, in my opinion I think that the 97 Grand Cherokee has a bit of a boxy look unlike the 99's and on which have a little bit more of a rounded apperance.

Well thanks for the welcome. But I have to catch up on some Z'z. Put a little hot soup and a little aspirin in my stomach and maybe I can avoid this head cold. Night. Master Oz.
