Honestly I'd keep looking. 1500 is a little high for a 92 with 192k. Even if you can get him down. If you're going for a trail rig you can find jeeps in that condition for under a thousand if you wait. I got a 98 classic, no rust, straight as can be body, great paint, clean interior, up country package, 8.25 rear with 161k for $2400. If you keep looking you'll find a good one and trust me it's hard to wait.
Alright guys I was able to pick up the car and have it for a few days before I make a decision. I've noticed a few things, I smell a sweet gas smell coming on start up until engine is warm. The windshield is cracked and it is missing the electrical panel under the steering wheel. The alignment seems off but there is no lift kit on it with 31" tires that rub against the wall when backing out of my driveway. On the good side it has a new drive shaft. The tires are new and expensive...(from what I can tell) it also needs a simple tuneup and new brakes which I expected to change anyway. The price is 1500$. I'm trading him a 2002 Chrysler voyager that was my parents vehicle and has been sitting for 2 months kbb is worth 1500$. He is also asking 500$ on top of trade. Any input would help. You know jeeps... I don't....yet. Lol ill post pics later on today
