Default What line do I use for a automated vacuum gauge

Hey I have a 88 jeep xj and I was wondering EXACTLY what line I would need to use for installing a vacuum gauge on my 88 jeep xj

Just use the most convenient for you to hook into. Vacuum is created just below the Throttle Body Butterfly Valve. The rate of vacuum in the intake Manifold is fairly even no matter what port you use.

No matter where you put it there will be common slight fluctuations throughout the system when accessories are using it. All fluctuations should be the same and equal on all manifold ports.

Back in the day we used to use Vacuum Gauges to tune Engines and keep an eye on fuel usage. We used the AM Radio to check for leaky plug wires

Just behind the throttle body is a line into the intake manifold. Put a T into there and route the hose into the cabin to your gauge.
