What kind of air compressors are you guys running in your XJ's?
I was going to do the AC to air pump conversion, but after 8 days of over 102+ in my area, thats not gonna fly, so im gonna need another onboard air solution for my 99 Sport. I was thinking about picking up an ARB under the hood compressor, but what else can you guys recommened? Im running 35's and dont have alot of money for this, so please keep that in mind. I've been looking at some VAIR's on ebay and stuff like that, but I just dont know.
Thanks
Thanks

I have a Viair and a 2.5 gallon tank. I mounted it where the spare used to be. I just didn't want it under the hood. i've had it a couple of years at least, 3 I guess. I've changed some of the piping around and added valves, gauges etc. It will run air tools enough so I can get a wheel off, etc.

Coming from one that the A/C didn't work when I got my jeep, I did the A/C to OBA and love it. Way more CFM than any electric compressor I've seen.

Not long, although I've never timed it. I'm running 34s and usually go down to 10psi then air up to 25psi and it doesn't take long. The tank is set at 150psi so the first one is pretty fast. I usually wait a little for the compressor to catch up on the last two.
