what the heck????
OK. i have been having a rediculously lound grinding noise when i start my jeep.
The starter is brand new and the flywheel/flexplate is brand new.
I got under it the other day and i saw that the bendix is hitting the the plate on the edge before it engages. and there is no way to adjust it so that the bendix comes out straight into the gear of the plate like its supposed too.
does anyone have any ideas???????
