Default What does your XJ weigh?

post up your weights if you've ever been on a real scale. truck stops generally will let you weigh your vehicle for a few bucks.


recently weighed mine.

my jeep with me, my girlfriend, both doors on, half tank of gas, spare parts, and tools weighed in at 4320lbs as it sits now.

on my old street tires with half a tank and all the doors on, me in it, 3500 roughly.

full of gear and 32s 4000 but probably about 4200-4300 with the 35s now.

I put it on a few hours ago 3493 lbs. Stock, 235/75R15 tires, and some gear.

With me, a few tools, and a full tank of gas it was 3,655 with 31's.

Mine was about 3900. I weighed mine at the local garbage dump. I took a minuscule amount of garbage so they didn't charge me

mine was 4000 at the scrap yard scale with a 3/4 tank and my tool box and me 200 lbs

i dont know why, but i was expecting an even 4k when i got on the scale. i guess without an extra passenger and without my doors im pretty close.

oh well, its just going to go up anyways with new axles and 37's....


goal is to keep it under 5k

The weight went up almost every year of production, so the newer the Cherokee the heavier.
I figure they've been getting rid of all the old depleted Uranium from the nuke plants by stuffing it into our vehicles. Only reasonable explanation I can think of.
