Default What does "feeler" mean in for sale area posts?

This may be a dumb question but I am wanting to gauge interest on some 33 inch like new tires and a yr old 4.5 inch rough country lift kit. In the for sale area some threads say they are a feeler. Does that mean they are just seeing if people will be interested or am I wrong?

No, you pretty much have it right. It's also a good way to get price suggestions.
