I've been leaning toward finding a nice clean stock XJ and then building it up a little bit, but this might be hard to pass up since I haven't been finding a stock-er to my liking. What do you guys think about his price? Thanks!

I see it's got the DuraTrac's on it, that's a good start. It looks like a clean rig. And it's a pre-2000, so you don't have to worry about the faulty head. Just make sure to check out all the electronic switches from all different doors et cetera. Jeeps have their notorious faulty wiring issues. Also check the rocker panels and make sure they're not rusty. The steering and driveline components also need to be checked over. Make sure there's no excessive play or worn-out parts..

If you can get him the lower the price closer to a flat 5k then I'd say jump on it!

 

I like it. Offer $4500 cash and go from there. $5000 is probably all I would offer.

i think its worth around 3500....the guy should be asking for round 3900.....he is way over priced....


for 5000$, i would be expecting an extreme cherokee......

so maybe its just me, but i think the guy is over priced by about 2k-2500
