What do YOU do with your old parts?
Well I was just thinking today since I am pretty much rebuilding my whole jeep, " WOW I have a TON of car parts that are just laying around that are CRAP and I certainly don't need them since I had to replace them."
So I was wondering if everyone else has a big pile of junk parts like me? Or is there a company that will just take old parts and do something with them, cause I feel like we could be sending a lot of parts to the manufactures which they came from to be rebuilt.
Any ideas what I could do with all of my old parts? And by old parts I mean pretty much every kind of part nothing specific really.

You sound like me. HA. I keep the old parts I know that will have core charges on them. Like last week, my starter went out and I had a junk one. So instead of having to take the old one out and run to the store, I took the junk one I had on the shelf, then took the one out of the jeep and slapped the new on in all at once. If I have junk parts and if they are metal i take them to the scrappers and get alittle money back.

yeah, I will always keep the stuff I know has a core. What about the stuff the scrap yard probably wont take, like the hubs can you take those since they have to take them apart? I know the scrap yards around here are lazy and they hate taking stuff apart...well so I hear from the people that always go there.
I was also thinking about keeping like one of everything that I could also learn to rebuild myself. I just have to make a list of what can and can't hehe....I feel like I work in a warehouse again, taking stock and checking my inventory haha
