You have got to be kidding me ! Well it does have 37k on it. I guess if you want one with that mileage you have to pay for it
. People look for different things I guess. When I think an xj for 13500 I think low mileage, tons, 39s, full lockers, roll cage etc etc etc. I personally could find 100 cars/trucks I rather have as a daily driver for 13500.

I bought mine stock with 23,000 on it for 4500$. No way I would pay that much for it as the most expensive parts (on mine) were the axles and that is still completely stock in that department.
Ive been offered money for mine by random people a few times... the most being 7000. Can't believe that thing sold for that.

I still see end year low mileage XJs at dealers around here for $10k+ and they sell quick. We just had a 00 with 60k traded in and it sat on our lot less than a day before someone bought it for $12k.

Thats nuts man. I paid half that via Ebay. That was a few years ago though. Low mileage is rarer now I guess. Not 6-8k more to me but to each his own.Originally Posted by motorcharge

That's also before the number of them was cut down so much through Cash for Clunkers.Originally Posted by Ianf406

I'm with you, I can't see paying so much but people do. Supply and demand and supply is constantly shrinking on these.
