I was browsing around online and I've been planning on going on a fairly extended off roading trip later on this coming summer. I have plans to go to Moab the year after next but I wantt to do something a little closer to get a feel for my Jeep on extended rides and more difficult terrain, and I fell upon Uwharrie. It looks fun in the pictures, but that only says so much.
I live in upstate NY so its not TOO long of a trek, can drive it in about a day and it looks like they have a good mix of stuff. By then I should have 3-4 inches of lift sitting on 32" TSL's, trimmed fenders with full skids/sliders and a rear locker. Is there much out there for something like this or would everything be too difficult/easy to bother driving out for?
Just wondering if its a good choice or there is someplace else better to go. I really wanted to go to Tellico instead but the little F***ers closed it before I could get down there to see it.

im about 2 hours from there and never been. i heard its pretty fun, but my buddy said i could make it up everything with 4.5", 32s and a locker out back if i could drive decent.
definitely not too difficult and i wouldnt say too easy from everything ive heard. i bet you'd have a lot of fun if youve never been. apparently theres trails around every tough trail for the stockers to tag along if they dont feel comfortable hitting up the tough stuff.
i hope to have a 4.5" LA, some 32s and locker out back by this summer. hit me up if you decide to come this way, we will plan a trip and meet up for a couple hours on the trails or something
