A rose by any other name would smell so sweet
My 89 XJ is the Peep, my friends called it the Peep during the rebuild, (Pete's Jeep hence the Peep), that name stuck (in the beginning the army was calling the 1st jeeps, peeps, perhaps best the name didn't stick then). I guess I refer to it as female gender. She is a barbaric ride but treats me right.
Our 95 Grand Cherokee is the HKZJ, the Hello Kitty ZJ, my youngest daughters daily drive (sometimes she even keeps it on the road), this thing is a sleeper and a snow beast. I guess the ZJ is female also.
We havn't had a name stick to the Liberty yet, it's been chipped and chilled, runs 31's on stock suspension, a very civilized drive and handles the winters here just fine. No gender on the Liberty, to tell the truth it is a pleasure to drive but just wasn't generating adrenalin. The chip and intake woke this baby up

I call my 99 "The Beast" as well my brother calls it Frankenjeep cause i've canniblized numerous parts from other jeeps (including a TJ) and my friends always come up with randon names to call it whenever they refer to it. My 94 doesn't yet have a name i've been looking for one, thinking of calling her OKey cause i bought in Oklahoma however i'm from Pennsylvania. Both me jeeps are Girls just cause i can't justify riding in a "boy" jeep even though my 99 has some serious ***** when you throw some rocks at her. My 94 and 99 alike are both still work-in-progress rigs, and the 94 needs some 4WD cause she's only 2WD at the momant but i plan to do the conversion just gotta find the parts is all.

Quote: My baby's name is Jethro. And yes, like yours, its still a baby - only about 122k miles on it, it's still being broken in! Mine seems to switch back and fourth between being a He and a She - but don't go and call my Jeep a trans-gender! When I'm talking about the awesome power and ruggedness of my Jeep, it's a He. When I'm talking about the beauty and love I have for my Jeep, it's a She. I've had my XJ since February, and wouldn't trade it for any other vehicle - and definitely not a Wrangler

The day I got her!

Most recent pic - new tires! BFG A/T KO's
There's nothing wrong with Wranglers or "Wronglers" as i've discovered them to be called on this forum. A jeep is a jeep and every jeep lover has the same common goal. To make their ride as sick and off-road capable and as unique to them as they please. Have you ever even owned a wrangler? I love my XJ's don't get me wrong but wranglers kick some serious *** as well. Don't hate on wranglers dude, anyone who drives a jeep regardless of body style is a friend of mine. Talk trash to a wrangler owner then ask him for help (once you actually lift your jeep) on the trail, you will find yourself looking at the back end of his rig driving away from you unless he's a good sport and a true jeeper and helps you regardless. On a lighter note, nice jeep looks identical to mine when i first got her even though she looks nothing like that anymore.

i just feel like like our jeeps should be girls, cause we are always spending money on them and pampering them with stuff haha they are princesses even though we beat on them, but they love that though

My friends and my parents call it the PeeJ. The name originated when me and my friend were camping, and he managed to read the front lettering backwards (we always thought it looks funny with the mismatched letters, never looked quite right).
After that, I switched the letters around to look how it does in my avatar.

I still haven't found the right name for mine. It's a he and I usually just call him my baby or my love, but I have been looking for a name.
