The last time I paid this much for labor, it was to install an engine. Not cool at all. This was a 4 hour job from what I've read here, plus my factory service manual doesn't indicate the" big job" I was told it was. They said my axles where stuck in the diff. Sound like reality to anyone?

Thanks for the welcome. The XJ's great for the city. See you in traffic!
I too am in the city. Chelsea to be exact. Being bred in Michigan and knowing the city, I trust no shop here. All rip-offs and shady. My wrench hand is unconditioned now, but through this forum I've met some awesome skilled mechanics that have helped me tremendously. All cool guys. Better to pass-the-cash to friends and learn a little than dump to an NYC shop I say.

started working on the sound bar again, since I looked back the other day and it was hanging down in the middle. Had a crack almost all the way through it. So this is my fix (gotta love jb weld) and the third pic is my plan for it. Go dawgs. The last one is just my jeep sittin behind my buddys mini-me.

I cleaned her clear out and gave her a big hug cause tomorrow early am I'll be flying on vacation and shell be alone at an airport lot I really don't wanna leave her alone for anweek. And the worst part my rental is gonna be a sedan. The GC would have been too much just for a week
