Been wet-sanding my hood, filling in scratches, then more wet-sanding to smooth it all out so that I can repaint it. Ordering rear shocks and a new front driver side parking light next Friday...can't wait!

Engine temp ran up to ~250 almost overheated, quick rolled down windows and blasted the heat...crisis averted! Also watched as my poor XJ got pummeled by hail about the size of a half dollar

Got my SYE and CV driveshaft in. No more vibes!! And the pinion and shaft lined up perfectly always a bonus not to have to buy shims.
Fill plug on my t-case is fused to the case. Didn't want to heat it for fear of warping the aluminium. So I had to fill the case from the speedo gear. Put a quart and a half and hope it was enough.
Steering box is making terriable noises. So I got a Durango box for an upgrade. Due to an online error and being charged too much I got it for $130 w/ lifetime warranty.
I am going to install the steering box and a new transmission mount this weekend. Been busy

Nice lookin setup you got there. I'm gonna do my headliner with black suede pretty soon. I'm also mounting my fire extinguisher somewhere, I was thinking about putting it in the cargo area up by one of the rear windows on a trim panel. I wouldn't mount the fire extinguisher right on the A pillar just because a passenger entering the Jeep could hit the fire extinguisher on accident. Also, if you were to get in a crash, the airbag would probably hit the fire extinguisher.

no, just painted with Testors hot rod red transparent paint. They still light up good and give it a different look.
And tactically speaking red light is much harder to see at night then white. Need to be prepared for the Zombie Apocalypse. Everything helps.
