Adjusted the steering box with it mounted in the jeep ( I know it's not the right way) and it worked out just fine....so far anyway.
Now the important part. What did the jeep do to me. Well let me tell you.
While I was trying to loosen up the nut on top of the steering box the wrench slipped and my knuckle went into a sharp piece of metal and cut down to the bone. More swear words were said than ever before.
My wife wanted me to go the hospital to get stitches but I opted to fold the flap of meat and skin back into place and super glued it. This too is also working out just fine....so far anyway.

I removed the front skid plate (kinda only was a steering box skid anyways..)
and removed the old sway bar quick disco ends that rattle on the axle.
I also cleaned the skid. it was dirty and had a THICK layer of old old grease. so I cleaned it all up and it now looks good again

Wish I could have worked on mine today. It's currently in a tow yard after some guy ran a red-light and hit the drivers side of my jeep. Girlfriend was driving and is good other than a few bruises. Waiting for the guys insurance to pay to get it out, then it is off to a body shop. I can't wait to have my jeep back. Ugh...............
No, I don't lick fish.
