Our CNC Sharp knee-mill uses Accu-Rite MillPWR for on-board programming, but accepts G-Code programs via Microsoft Notepad uploaded thru a 3.5 floppy drive.
My foreman has no problem with me using it "after-hours" mainly because he is fasinated with what I can do with it. He's borderline computer-illiterate.
So he stands there and watches me...ALOT

I finally finished with the herculiner today. replacing the bad floorboards was way more work than I thought. I had planned on a weekend long job but it got stretched out to 3 weeks. With the weather as well. But its done.

Oh yeah, I forgot... I swore at mine...Incessantly. Like "I would make a trucker blush" kind of swearing.
And I'm gonna add straight antifreeze when I get home.
I'm used to Autodesk stuff. Inventor mainly. I know a lot of CAD guys are in awe of how we lay out plans on it. Some would be doing up a hydraulic manifold plate and it takes them like 2 hours, we whip it out in like 10 minutes. 15 if there's something cool on the sports ticker online...
People can actually find 3.5 floppies? I had to hunt one down for a class and ended up with like 20 of the damn things...
