Well, I started on the conversion. The bulbs are 4300k. They are PURE white... no yellow at all, and just the slightest hint of a pale blue... they're crazy bright! The instructions are kinda hard to comprehend at first (poorly translated Chinese or Japanese) but I finally just decided to pull out the tester and figure it out for myself. Definitely gonna be happy with these... anyone looking for a set of these, they are on eBay sold by funhousy. They were 41 bucks and some change with free shipping.
Here's some pics of the progress.

You really don't need a wiring upgrade. I've been running my HIDs on stock wiring for 9 months, and they're still working flawlessly. The only thing you gotta think about is that when an HID bulb ignites, it draws around 3000 volts believe it or not. That's what the ballasts are actually for.

Drove it to work. Thinking about cutting my fenders some more and hammering more pinchwelds flat.
Also had my oil pressure sensor start leaking like crazy earlier this week. What a mess! Replaced it and no more leak

a good deed...was playing Dukes of Hazzard on a dirt road ^_^ and came across a fallen tree in the middle of the road. got out, cleared the small branches out of the road with my hands, then got back in and pushed the tree out of the road with Anya. feels good man ^_^

Wired up my HD wiring harness for my headlights. Was a slight PITA at first but got another 1-1.5v to the lights and it made a good difference and the Hella
