New front pads and rotors today. Changed both calipers yesterday, and found how bad the pads (or what was left) and rotors were.. next are balljoints! lol

Oh, and of course went doorless again.. definately loving the weather.

I ordered projectors/open beam headlight replacements and a 10k hid all for under 130$ I have pictures up next week heading out to play in the mud this weekend. The hid kit is plug and play + slim ballasts. Their an H4 headlight reciever and kit. It's the same kit I have my truck and 4 wheeler gotta say (nock on wood) came with no warrantee and have lasted over 2 1/2 years so far......

Technically speaking, those kelvin indicators for HIDs are wrong. 5500k is white under daylight conditions, while the lower you go gets more warm, (candlelight is 3800k or so) and the higher you go the cooler the light gets towards blue (off the top of my head 7600k is fluorescent bulb green.)

Much like actual speaker output vs advertised, beware what you read.

Sorry for the ot, just thought it was interesting.

I'm running a $40 Ebay Xentec HID kit. I had flickering for the first week that I had them. They now work perfect. If you experience flickering, you can actually add a resistor to the ballasts to correct it.

Ordered my winch bumper, and clear corners and under headlights lens. Also my tcase drop. Didnt work on the sound bar any though, instead I helped my friend in need. We changed a altenator and battery in his 91 735iL we started at about 1030pm and finished at about 230am. It feels good to help people out man, just keep payin it forward.

that is correct. Warm white is like 2800k daylight is 4100k and natural light is 3500k. And those are on the yellow side. Execpt the 4100k as you go higher it goes more white than blue i know it goes to purple eventually. I forgot whats in between those

attempted to take my doors off today. ran into a couple of problems.
  1. the torx bit i bought YESTERDAY, NEW, stripped on the 1st bolt i tried to take off. (grinded it down till i hit good teeth and tried again)
  2. of the 12 total bolts 5 where frozen, 2 on passenger and 3 on driver. (1 on passenger i broke loose with vise grips, the other one i had to cut off. 1 on driver i got with vise grips, other two still on it. [will cut on tuesday])
  3. Passenger side all set up and ready to go back on, had to be hammered in order to fit. (will drill out hinge to fit better on tuesday)
  4. Driver side still has 2 frozen bolts and 3 hand tight bolts till i can work on it again on tuesday.
so now i get to go the weekend with one door and the other door barely attached. (its safe but not for long periods)

Removed the tint on the taillights, 3rd brake light, and front markers and also had to weld the exhaust so it could pass state inspection. not from today, but got the CB wired in and the antennae hooked up. Later comes getting it ready for next weekend's wheeling/camping trip.
