Got front end straitened out, then, on way home from work, freakin donkey ran out in front of me... Yes, I said RUN!!! Screwed my jeep up pretty good so now, tear everything back down and rebuild front end again. I guess the best way to explain is to say that we are a bit secluded out here... Anyway, more damage than I have ever seen from a deer... Really sucks but I am going to fix it anyway.

Tried to fix the electric lock/unlock switch on the passenger side (didn't get to finish), I got lost on some back roads and crused around for a while

I don't even work in the same state, or even country as my wife most times, so I would like to a) make it safe for my wife to survive a deer strike and b) make it so I don't have to fly back to the US just to rebuild her jeep front end.

So... my wife just took a job out in the country; on the way home from the job interview, 6 deer ran out in front of us: So, do you suppose a HD brush guard would save the front end?

checked out the damage more, guess i bent the bumper more than i thought. oh well, just the bumper and thats it. gonna go try to fix the brake light issue now.

got the block all cleaned off and painted blk, and valve cover painted blue with metal fins, torqued the head down, put the manifolds on, and put all the accsesories on, ready to drop in the ol' girl
put the RE SR 3.5'' and tires on with my buddy and now its in the shop cuz the rear shock mount bolts snapped and didnt want to messed with it and get an alignment. also working on fixing the passenger side window switch (doesnt work) but stops the window from moving when depressed when lowering it with the drivers side and the locks still work?!?!

To answer hubbazoot, I hate to say that I was the only on walking away... The donkey didn't have a prayer. This is just bad timing as I was going to start lifting it this weekend. I got my tires and some other parts and was looking forward to putting it all together, needless to say, I have to find a front end that I can get parts from.

This is the aftermath the following morning when I finally got it home (can't be driven)

This is as far as the hood will open now

Still think it could have been worse... At least I have done this work before so I know how to fix it but it still sucks!
If jeeps don't get scratches or dents, then that is one heck of a character mark!
