It still is kinda cool considering! Haha!

I used my XJ as my Music festival support vehicle for me.................. Carried gear out to Joshua Tree, then I attempted to sleep in it.

Only time I slept in my Jeep was the front seat and it was not ideal.

HAHA!
I brought a COSTCO sized bottle of Tanqueray, a bag of limes, Tonic, and a little food (home made salsa, chips, beef jerky).
It actually works OK if it is just me in the back. I built little extensions that fill in the area behind the seats & console, then I have a 4" piece of foam that goes down.
The problem is the music (if you wanna call it that?) was going all night long.

Wheeled it the last two days at RC on from Blues-Reds. Little damage reported. Following an XJ on 40s and tons was a challenge

Changed the oil in the 01, first time after new engine was installed. Replaced the front springs and sway bar links in the 94.

Began getting the thermostat hosing bolts hosed down with PB Blaster for the big thermostat/radiator/radiator hose replacement, system flush and heater core backflush this weekend.

More PB Blaster on the thermostat housing bolts. Picked up some Permatex High Tack to hold the new thermostat in while replacing.

Those must look rooooouuuuugh!

I took mine loose at 291k miles. Chrysler thermostat. I am doubting this the original motor. Use reciprocating action. Bump the ratchet with your other hand versus just torquing the hell out of it.

As for me today, had a drip off of the rear diff cover. Picked up that gasket and fill plug today. Looks like I'll be doing that this weekend.

They don't look rough, but I have time before my parts get here Friday. Housing and everything attached to it are from the factory. Going to start off with 1/4" ratchet before moving to 3/8" if needed. BTW, mine does not look like a Bleepin' Jeep or Admiral Off-Road rig, it has been a street Jeep the whole time so not really cruddy under there.

Rear diff cover, gasket, plug, and fresh oil are up for an upcoming weekend. That was only replaced once, and they didn't take the cover off.
