96' Rubicon Express 4.5" Short Arm Super-Flex Upgrade
Just finished up installing a re lift over the weekend, only sheared one shock mount bolt. Now to trim some fenders, finish welding a bumper, and maybe some new TREs.
I was looking for something similar to Quadratec Rubicon Extremes or Moabs, found these on sale and liked them. Didn't want anything super flashy but also wanted something a little more than the black steels.
Completed a Jeep right of passage today. I fixed my window lock switch located on the master switch assembly. I could only control the windows from my door. Now everything works as it should.

Looked at the link, man you are more patient than me.
I set out to do just what you did with my #$%^ driver's switch module and at some point said 'hell with it'.
I suppose if i were on Gilligan's Island i would of persevered! LOL
Besides the auto down window feature didn't 'click' let alone work and the switch LEDs were shot.
Ordered a new switch assembly from fleabay for $35 and all is well again.
Yeah, its a great feeling when everything works on an XJ!

I have a slightly newer model with a HM100 that runs about 4000 dB and uses as much gas as the XJ.

X3, I have an old Powermate with the Tecumseh HM100, while it might be noisy and thirsty the thing won't die. I even fired it up on the third pull last winter after it had sat for two years (with the fuel drained) in sub-freezing weather. I definitely have more faith in it than any of the Chinese Honda clones (though they are quieter and more efficient) and even many of the newer Briggs OHV engines (many of which are just Chinese Honda clones themselves, or even worse "parts kits" from China that Briggs assembles in their US factories, so they can slap an "Assembled in the USA" label on what is really a Chinese engine).
The old updraft carb Briggs side-valve engines were excellent though if you can find a good one (though oddly at least in my experience parts seem more difficult to come by than the Tecumseh's even though Tecumseh has been out of business for years), shame they stopped making them (the EPA is likely mostly to blame).
I put in a new electric cooling fan power, steering pulley, new belt, flushed out and refilled the radiator, put some kc lights I had laying around on my bumper and finally wired them up to a toggle switch. I had a big day. O and the most fun part was figuring out how to pop my hood because the cable came undone and i had to pull out my head lights and unbolt those dang latch clip things. I also put a gloss black grill in place of the old fake chrome one i had.
So I decided to do a little prep work concerning the overhead console install. Getting dropped off to my guy, with the headliner and visors, next week to get reupholstered. I wanted to swap out the IR receiver for the door locks and give everything a good cleaning with some electrical cleaner. So you really can't get at the IR receiver without taking the whole thing apart. No idea it was this many different pieces. Gotta be 2 dozen small torx in the thing. Glad I did not snap any of the 18 year old plastic. And since I have two more I will have something to look at when I put it back together. Cause I will forget exactly how it was. Found a Jeep in the boneyard, dome light one, that had the remote in it. So I grabbed that and instead of using mine I am using that one. Also not cutting my dome light headliner. Commitment issues. Good thing is though since just that one piece has fabric on it and I can give him just that it will make his job easier which means it will cost less.
I need help. Is there a 12 Step Program for Jeep Owners?
Came home with this off Craigslist. $100. 5 minutes from my house. He thought he had all the hardware but he did not. I bought it anyway. Said if he does come across it will call or drop it off at my work.
