Oooooh!

Went to the Pull-a-part today to see if those two snowflake wheels were still there. They weren't. However, I did find the rest of the set of alloys for my other car. As an extra bonus, I found a wind deflector for the roof rack of my car for the trip home. When I get home, that "wind deflector" will become a front skid plate for my Cherokee.

I replaced the nylon bushings 6 months ago, greased them, and have re greased them several times as well as tightened them, and both of them kept getting loose after a couple weeks, so I would tighten them one more hole and grease them again. Finally got too wore out on the nylons, so I bought the uniballs and new nylons, and used synthetic grease so hopefully they are fixed for a while. Its only until tax time. Then I will order iro critical path 4 inch long arm kit

Id consider another kit, those caster adjustments on the IRO kit are cheesy.

Why so? Reason I was looking at that kit is 1, I know a guy that runs it and it flexes awesome, 2, I don't want to run sye, so I don't want to go much bigger than what I have. 3, I already have longer brake lines and don't want to have to upgrade again. 4, most places want like $2k+ for long arm kits. I was looking at the re 4.5 long arm kit, but two of my friends have the 5.5 long arm kit and the iro flexes about the same as theirs with less lift. Im not opposed to ordering a better kit, just want to hear why you don't like the iro kit. Thanks

The caster adjustment is a known weak point, read about multiple failures. Not knocking IRO, they make some nice products, but its a design flaw IMO.

Even at 4" of lift you may run into issues and get driveline vibes without running an SYE. Its additional cost for sure but worth the investment.

Im at 3.5 now and have no vibes, so I was hoping I could get away with it. Just took a better look at the adjustment youre talking about. Guess ill get new tires and a windshield before I pull the trigger on a new lift. Thanks

I wouldn't worry about the IRO kit, and if it really is a concern you could order the adjustable version, it just uses a conventional threaded adjuster.

Agreed. It's a bad design with weak mounting points. Plus at just 3.5"s you're going to drag those arms on rocks and branches. I'm at the same height and I would suggest looking at Cavfabs alpha kit or TNT long arms. Much better design, stronger, and won't compromise ground clearance. IRO makes some good stuff but they should redesign their long arms.

Replaced distributer cap and rotor as well as wires. Planned on changing the plugs too, but the wrong ones were sent with the Accel Tune up kit I ordered. I ordered a set of champion plugs and a TPS hoping it will fix the bucking issued I've got going on. I also ordered my RC 6.5" short arm kit today.

I wrapped up a TrueTrac install and gear change for the D30 on my 98Xj. Going from 3.55 to 4.10's.

Now I have to get moving on the gear swap and lunchbox locker install planned for the 8.25 rear.
