Don't forget about the Powertrax no-slip...best of both worlds. Probably still not a perfect candidate for the front but that's what I got planned for my rear C8.25 w/242.

What clown said. New stems. Cheap and it really can be a 5 minute fix if you can break the bead on your own fast enough.

It's snowing and/or below freezing here...sounds more like a 30 minute job, and I'd have to go buy valve stems, there's a few more minutes:-P lol Pretty much always have the compressor aired up so I just fill 'er up every now and then.

Keep the compressor full man haha. It won't be every now and then. More like frequently haha.

Yeah you could probably do it yourself. But a shop shouldn't charge more then 20 bucks for all 4 installed. Unless your waiting to put new tires on or something I'd say just save the hassle of breaking beads and have a shop do it in 10 minutes.

Hmmm.... I actually HAD forgotten about them. At over 400 a pop though, it's not an option right now.

Yeah new tires are in the very short future...Actually have a set of used mounted 31's I plan on putting on as soon as I remove fender flares and possibly doing some trimming of fenders...I've got so much on my list to do though of higher priority it might be this weekend or 3 months from now when I get to it!

Cheaper than a TRU TRAC which I've heard/read is really the only way to go for an LSD

$520

vs

$420

Just put s new pump in and fixed the leak, but now there is loud screech coming from the water pump pulley. If it runs for a while it over heats, any help? Btw lts a brand new pump from napa.

Loosen the belt and rotate the pump pulley. See how it feels,, does it feel good and smooth or is it hard to turn,,, whats up with it??..

Yeah... my ultimate goal is selectables though, so I'd rather just do what I can on the cheap with this Trac Lok unit - work or not - and save the 400 towards the $1k OX unit I want for the rear lol.
