Well, the fuel pump replacement on the Farm Jeep is kinda stalled:

Looks like orange algae. I thought that stuff only grew in diesel... YUCK! That gas has been in there roughly four years... maybe five. For all the junk around here I can't find my little squeezy siphon thing to drain all that crud. (Didn't drop the tank - instead I put a giant hole in the floor, as is my modus operandi.)

Oh well. The battery I was going to use it toast, anyway. I think a trip to town is in order.

If you get that stuff on you, the smell will follow you foreva.

I served a couple of summers in a mower shop as a kid and when I saw the pic I think I puked a little.

I have this same body style jeep and it has been very good to me as I have been to it. It just stopped on me the other day and I cannot figure it out?
Ran fine started off of a bump of the starter, now it just cranks forever with no indication of fire, I have since replaced the coil and the spark plugs btw it's an- inline 6 - and it still will not start. Any suggestions?

Oh I'm familiar with that part, a few months ago I worked on this generator I inherited that was sitting since 1999. Inside the carb was all green and quite nauseating. I was an idiot when I removed the bowl screw so got some on my fingers, took most of a week to get rid of that ****!

BTW, if you cut the floor to get at the pump, excercise a little caution and don't cut the gas tank like I did. Lol
Nominated!

Now that I got the o2 sensor situation settled, took the kids and hit a few of our favorite hill climbs out by Medina to see how she'd do on the 31s. Could definitely feel the extra oomph, engine was a lot happier. And the slight loss of ground clearance didn't really seem to bother her at all, she hit the top of each one just fine.
