did a major Performance upgrade today
Yep ya read that right.. I can not believe the differance the jeep feels in acceleration and braking... getting rid of at least 75lbs of rotating mass does wonders...

the rad is a 2 core 19"x22" aluminum unit, i cut out about 2" from the lower support, the lower mount is 1.5 14g square stock, with 16g wing i cut out of some plate, the top has a a hole for the fill neck, i welded the factory angle piece to the core support as apposed to the bolts. the cooler is a factory ferd explore unit with built in tabs so i bent the tabs and welded in some pins for the cooler to center on when the support is bolted down, then i drilled some new holes for the volvo fan shroud to bolt to the support with the factory jeep fasteners
i just need to clearance the hood for the fill neck
and fab a block off plate for the open sides of the cooler to force air over the cooler

I mean granted, it's not the best place for it but just be careful until you can safely put it back inside, thats all. Don't take it to heart but the majority of us are family men/women ourselves and speak up if we see something that looks unsafe. So let's just please move on.
In other news, I stretched her new legs today for the first time...
