I heavily apply the skinny pedal on and offroad, was there water and sand in there for lubrication?
Nah, the gear oil was still in good condition. Took it out on Memorial Day weekend for some stress relief and wheeled with reckless abandon. The trails were slick from recent rains so it was fully throttle up every hill. From what it looks like the front tires got in a bind climbing a rock ledge and one of the spider grenaded into three pieces. Didn't take much after that for the rest of the spiders to start breaking teeth and chewing themselves up. That's why it's not a daily driver, I can beat the crap out of it and if it breaks it can sit until repaired.
some injector connectors, a gm throttle cable, new driver side kickpanel, new woodgrain dash bezel to replace my broken one. they had a nice 95 country with 134 \k that should not have been there and an 87 2.5 4x4
Got a little work done on these grill lights. Progress is slow but I'm getting close. Got the driver side mounted but I'm not super happy with the bracket I made. Heading to the store tomorrow to find some better material.
I trimmed the led for the passenger side with a Dremel tool and a drill file. These things are only about 3.5" deep but still had to lop about 1/2" off a couple cooling fins. Hit em with some black engine enamel when I finished.
Also got some new headlights in. I can't wait to be able to see at night.
