I did the LED swap, I am really happy with the results but now the temperature gauge is dead.

Yeah I found the bulbs in a cluster at the junkyard, put them on a power supply to verify they were good, grabbed the old cluster and sprayed the back of the gauge bezel with chrome spray paint. I am pretty happy with how it came out just need to get the rest of the dash squared away.

Took it out to the desert for a few days as a shakedown test. Found a noisy heim on one of my control arms, and found a few other things I need to deal with, but for the most part the XJ was a treat to drive offroad. Wish I had installed my front swaybar disconnects though...

Today I installed a bit of bling. Cost $150. Included a lengthy, well made harness with relay and lit rocker switch.

Install time less than one hour.

Looks good on my Rusty's front bumper. Adjustable mounts fit the predrilled holes:

Lotsa harness here, complete and well made:

Stashed the extra wire for now:

Mounted the lit rocker switch above my JY fog light switch, which will be used soon to power as yet uninstalled LED fog lamps:

Let there be light:

Autopal and upgraded wiring harness low beams:

Autopal high beams:

Plus new LED light bar. Woah!

Heh... I had always heard that tow mirrors folded out with no trailer meant... something else.

Anchor is $4 for a reason, nobody wants them. See attached comparison pictures.

brown dog mounts for the win. Probably never have to replace mine again. Worst case scenario I'll have to replace the bushing but not the whole mount.

Surprised you didn't wire the bar to the oem fog light switch.

I'm adding LED fog lights with amber lenses, and I want seperate switches. This light bar is like the sun at a listed 10800 lumens. I'm sure I can legally drive pavement with the fogs but definately not this light bar, so seperate controls are required.
