Wow, that looks great! In the spring I'm probably going to have to decide on whether to renew the rear drum setup or convert to discs. It'll probably depend on how much trouble I have tracking down the needed pieces in the locaal boneyards. I've seen guides for doing the upgrade using either Liberty or Grand Cherokee rear brake parts.
It looks like a great upgrade. I really hate working on drum brakes.

Today I didn't really do anything to my XJ but I did see another on the road the same color for the first time. It seems to be a fairly uncommon color, "Desert Sand Pearl" I think the factory called it (paint code TD), but it just looks like plain old gold to me.
Anyhow, although I see a lot of XJs on the road until now I had not seen another around here in this color. Duplicolor doesn't even make a match for it in their line of touchup paints.

Nope, it's the ZJ upgrade
Yeah, I did do the Prop Valve, I wouldn't want to take the chance
It really does, it's so much simpler. I suggest you convert to discs, well for me I just hated drums as it is they are such a pain! Grand Cherokees are abundant where I am (Nevada) they are like a dime a dozen, especially at pick and pull, there's about 3 in ever other row. lemme know if you need some backing plates of them for me there super easy to find

There's a bone-stock, all original '95 in Aqua tooling around here that I'd really like to get my hands on.

I did mine over the leaf springs, and now I have a problem with my bumpstops rubbing the lines, which isn't a problem yet but I could see it being one if I hit the bumpstops a lot on a wheeling trip. Never hit them on the road or with light wheeling though. I wish someone made a bracket designed for a jeep Cherokee disc brake swap.

I don't think I've ever seen a yellow XJ! I wanted to do some minor touchup on mine but like I said, Duplicolor doesn't make the "Desert Sand" gold color. It might be possible to get a local paint shop to make some up by the paint code and put it in a rattle can.
