I did a little web search and reverse cut gears are better for front axles due to the way the gears mesh and the load distribution on the teeth. It helps the pinion angle for short shafts (like Jeeps). All in all it wasn't worth the swap, the high pinion had a leaking pinion seal plus it had 258,xxx miles on it compared to 180,xxx on the low pinion with better u-joints.
Thanks for info though.

for my 96 it was, the grand cherokee seats where eletric and my old seats were manual so all i had to do was take the motor off the new seat and throw my manual recliner on to the new seats...pretty much bolted right on... this write up helped me alot- http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f11/z...ite-up-952412/

My Jeep tried to kill me today. Drove about 40miles and on the way home it started pulling to the driver side. Almost made it home but comming around a left hand corner the wheel started to locked up and started hoping. I flew off the road and locked it down and almost hit a fence. I got out and there was smoke coming from my wheel. I jumped in and turned the wheel so I could see the calaber. When I looked back at it the grass under my truck was on fire. I grabbed my fire extinguisher and put the grass fire out. I jumped back in and tried to pull forward but the driver side wheel was locked. I tried to back up and it would just spin the tires. I got a long flat head screw driver and tried to pry the caliper back but no go. I beat on it with a hammer and keep prying on it and after 10min it finally moved. I drove my Jeep up the road to a gas station and called my brother. We loaded it on his trailer and took it home. Tomorrow its getting 2 new front calipers, pads, and disks.

Didn't do much Jeep specific work, other than getting the parts Jeep running again. Apparently I'd partially disconnected the computer when I was futzing with the wiring harness in the front end. Oops. Filled my garage with some sooty black smoke.
Put together my 2-ton folding shop hoist. Think that'll pull the engine, tranny, and t-case as one unit?
Assembled my engine stand.
Took delivery of a Kobalt 60-gallon, 208-240v, 155psi (11.4cfm @ 90psi), 3.7hp air compressor! Sweet! Now I can run my air tools.

It's not so much that I did anything rather I was told what was going to be done to my jeep. I am deployed to Iraq and my buddy is taking care of my jeep. When I get home it's gonna have a 10,000lb winch on the front, a PORC SYE, and tube doors for all 4 doors! Maybe more...we'll have to see how far I can stretch my deployment money in the next couple of months!

I replaced both of my front calipers, pads and disks. Then bleed the entire system and it feels so good. Now I have to figure out why the ABS light is on and the ABS systems isn't working.
I drew up a nice paint addition that I thought would look cool, whaddya guys think? It follows the body angle starting at the marker light
I'm also painting the bezels black (just around the lights)

Fixed my brakes this morning and took it off road this afternoon. Did great until I decided to pull up on a large rock to take som pic of the flex. My tire slid off and the core support landed on top of the rock and I was stuck. Both front tires were barley touching the ground and all 4 tires were spinning. Worked on getting off it for 30+min until a ground of hikers walked by and jumped on my rear bumper and I slid off the rock. In the process I bent both the steering bars back agents my diff. I put my tow strap around them and backed away from a tree and bent them back straight. All was good.
Not the rock I got stuck on. Max flex I could pick up on the rear and it would tilt.
