Tried it both directions. I'm thinking maybe the power is switched after the fuse box? Would that make sense?

I'd say it's time to break out a multimeter, or at least a test light

I'm thinking about just using the wires of the cigarette lighter (I cut the plug off because the cigarette lighter is my horn) and using those because I have my CB hooked up to it and it works.

Have you considered the current draw, relative to the wire gauge and fuse rating?

The fuse is 25 amps for the cigarette lighter the fuse for the seat warmers are 10 amps so I doubt the CB will draw 15 amps.

Cool. Just making sure you cover your bases. Don't forget to put a fuse after the split, in front of the CB

Everything is fused off the split, I try to do things the right way.

There is a relay powering the cigarette lighter.

So how would I tap in after the relay? Or is there something else I can tap into?

Was going to wait until spring, but with Indian Summer temperatures and a little free time this afternoon I topped up the refrigerant in my AC system. I figure that even though there can't be many more warm days this year the AC does run with the defroster so it would be nice for it to be working right. It's fine now, no more rapid compressor cycling.

Also picked up some cheap playing cards at the dollar store to try out jswift716's idea for quickly masking off tires for wheel painting. There was not enough time to do any painting but I did test fit some cards, looks like it's going to work out great.

Finished up my rear bumper.

What did you do to your Cherokee today?-image-3173650675.jpg

Accidently set it wee a bit too high, I solved that by whacking the bottom edge of the liftgate with a BFH.

With the 5-760x joints and the rear bumper out of the way, I can enjoy wheeling.

Also mean I can move on to next project... Looking for a set of 73-76 Chevy 1/2 ton knuckles for high steer.
