NAPA. #272318 is the OEM replacement. Or #272310 is the hvy duty one used on the 2.5L engine equipped XJ's. It's kind of loud but I don't mind it and probably not really necessary IMHO.
Thanks I'll have to order the NAPA one. The one VatoZone has listed for the 99 XJ is actually the loud HD one for the 5.9 grand. That place never ceases to disappoint.

Which "water hose" and where at?
Lower radiator hose where it connects to the water pump. It's either that or the gasket didn't seat right, that's definitely the area the leak was coming from and the tstat housing looks sealed up tight. All hoses are brand new. Small leak in the parking lot of the grocery store after about 10 minutes of normal city driving, after 15 more minutes I parked it in my driveway and no further leaks, could it be just some weird break-in of the water pump where it pukes a little bit from the weep hole? I've had new (non-remanned) parts do similar weird stuff and eventually it just went away. Maybe the gasket hasn't had time to soak up coolant and swell, idk.

If it's not a loose clamp and you need gasket adhesive I use this:

Received my shackle kit including lower bushing from **** ***** today, 23 days after ordering it. To my surprise the only bushings were the ones installed in the shackles. AKA the upper bushings. As if the wait for shackles wasn't long enough, now I have to hunt down leaf spring shackle bushings so I can get the XJ back on the road this weekend. That or pop for another month of insurance on the Stealth and drive it after the end September, something I or the previous owners have never done

I decided not to mention the store's name till after they have replied to my email expressing my disappointment with their service. I will give them till noon tomorrow then all holds are off.

I have never joined a group like this before. Bought 1989 Cherokee Laredo in 2006 and just recently traded her for a 2002 Grand Cherokee. Took the 02 to get the "Check Engine" light decoded and found that I have a vacuum leak and an unknown problem with my ABS. Will try to fix the vacuum leak with advice from this forum. Thank you!

I thought shackles only come with bushings. Leaf spring bushings can be had from anywhere from quadratec to 4 wheel parts. Did I miss something.

Yeah the stores listing states "includes lower bushings" The bushings that come in the shackle is the upper bushing. The problem with me ordering from Quadratec or 4 Wheel Parts is that I am Canadian so I would never get the parts by Friday even the Canadian 4WP gets their parts in from the USA warehouse so ordering from them would just add even more time. Then there is the problem with my work hours, I am scheduled for over 60 hours a week till after October and this weekend coming up is the only time I have to work on it before the end of the month.

Chances are I will end up paying through the nose from Napa just so I can do the work.

For the record I could have ordered from the USA for a little less but decided to support a Canadian dealer

Axles fell through but on the plus side, I finally got ahold of the guy with the bored throttle body. $30 and 3 minutes later, and I am on my way to more air flow! Just gotta pull the baffle from inside the tube from the airbox and I'm good to go!

Just purchased '98 xj sport 4wd today, cant wait to start working on it. Everything is stock, hoping to go with bilstein 5100's and RE 3.5 coils and keep it on 31's. Open to any advice and guidance from people with similar builds. I'm still combing my way through the threads to make sure I do things the right way! Cheers!
