took it on the highway for the first time since lift and tires ( a couple months ) and not to bad no severe wobble just a little speed wobble that isnt effected by little bumps just speed but its maintainable up to 75 as it was getting a little sketchy up there any thoughts on speed wobble since everyone and there brother talks about "death wobble" any hints on minor speed wobble (only vibrates the steering wheel back and forth a little bit)

Default Trailer Hitch invert

Tired of my trailer hitch limiting my off roading fun by hanging to low, so I decided to flip the center section. As you see I had to cut the bumper to allow the hitch to "tuck" into the bumper. I like the new look.

Great idea I wish mine could be flipped. I get hung on mine all the time.

8.8 swap COMPLETE..........minus cosmetic touches. 4.88's made this thing drive like a stock Jeep again(which is slow, not super duper ****ing orange triangle slow like it was before. )

We didn't use any "kit" as i'm trying to keep this as budget as I can. We used the Explorer U-bolts/nuts and even the spring backing plates and either cut or bent over the OE Explorer shock tab on the plates. We also used some sort of "bastard" U-joint to connect the Ford flange to the 8.25 drive shaft. Worked awesome!

And FWIW, if you need banjo bolts for Explorer calipers....nobody has them. However....banjo's from a D30 axle/braking system work.

I'm tire as a mother****er now, so tomorrow after work i'm gonna clean it up, black it out and use zipties/clamps where need be.

The front pieces will be here Tuesday, and we'll hopefully have all that **** on the weekend. It's so ****in' hot outside. I also put a new serp. belt on all by my little self.

Some pre-installs.....I really just wanted to try out my new phone to see how good the camera was(seems not too bad).

Removed the hood from the parts XJ, removed the front lights wiring harness, removed the grill assembly and part of the front clip, removed the upper radiator support, wrestled with a bumper that had half it's mounting bolt's nut's welds broken due to a collision. Got the front as stripped as I can without disabling the motor.

Tried to locate the motor lifting points, but wasn't able too. Weird, I'll have to look again.
