Oil Change on girlfriends Jeep. I think I might be the unluckiest then the luckiest person with broken bolts
Started tightening down my girls jeeps valve cover bolts then snap my dumb self over tightened the stud! luckily it was in the middle of the valve cover and not at the end. I end up taking the valve cover off and see the broken part as about 1/2cm of threads sticking out. "Oh great this is gonna be fun" grab the needle nose pliers and Behold the broken part is as loose as ever and was able to get it out The Jeep gods were on my side today

Broke another valve cover bolt when will I learn I had everything back together and ended up just snugging the very back on the left side and snap!
It came out with some persuasion with a hammer and little pry bar split with an opening in the middle just hammerd that pry bar in between the stud and it came right out harder than the last one I broke last night though.
funny how that little stud caused so much trouble

I got lucky and didn't have any stud issues. Biggest problem for me was getting the cover down between the ground strap in the back and the thermostat hose in the front.

I needed to pull my sway bar links forward away from the track-bar bracket by the frame. So I made this to move it a little forward.

Was bummed out that my AC that so far has worked great, decided to poop out today. Driving home from work, it'd only blow somewhat cool air when idling. Soon as I hit the gas, lost its cool, and at hwy speed was downright hot. This had me scratching my head, lol. With S. Texas summer just getting into swing, I was not happy.
Get home and pop the hood, no visible leaks, compressor clutch is engaged... Wtf?
Then I spot it. The pathetic plastic vacuum line that runs the heater control valve broke, and is just flopping around above the distributor. Aha! I was essentially running the AC and the heat together, the higher the rpm, the more heated coolant was running through the heater core.
Cut a short piece of rubber vac line(I keep a little in all my trunk kits), reconnect it to the actuator, and viola! Ice cold air is once again blasting from the vents.
Victory.

So I didn't really do any thing yet to my Cherokee, fuel filter tomorrow. All thow I did get one step closer to getting my 33-12.5 on, went to Larry's in Burlington WA and had him mount my tires.
