More driveshaft work. Found out the front one had some play in the expansion joint, which explains why it was vibrating harsh sometimes but not all the time. Reinstalled my old one, regreased everything again, and now the jeep is smooth and quiet with two good shafts, plus I have a spare that works well enough to get me home.

Rear disc brake conversion complete…almost. I cracked the pass-side hard brake line from the caliper to the block. Now I have an excuse to get custom brake lines tomorrow.

Not sure what I'm looking at in the top pic. Where did you get the USB outlet for that?

Pulled the needles off the cluster, scraped the white paint off the back and repainted with fluorescent red model paint.

USB bought on amazon. Had to enlarge the hole and cut away some plastic on the back side of the switch bezel

Today was repairs day.

Week before last I banged up my Transmission Pan and the Crossmember.
Went to salvage yard last week, got a good pan and crossmember. Then I cleaned them up and gave them a few good coats of paint.

Today, I removed the pan, replaced the filter and put my new pan on. Glad I did this since my Trans fluid was pretty dirty.

Next I replaced the fluid in the Transfer Case and then I put my new Crossmember on.

Next project Rusty's Skid Plates for the Oil Pan & Transmission then the Transfer Case.

Don't want to have to do the Trans Pan again.

Welded and painted JCR's hoop onto my new bumper, removed the factory front skid plate as well as the front sway bar assembly, and easily took out the two lower steering box bolts without much muscle

Custom rip in your steering wheel leather and a label to remind you to examine your zipper?!?!?

JK man... everything looks real good. I like the USB ports.

FYI. The needles or their tips, often use a paint that will transfer in the event of an accident. A mark will be left on dial so investigators can see at what speed an impact occurred.
