Pulled the old plugs, compression tested the cylinders (145-150 on all but #1!) installed new plugs, and added 3 quarts of oil. She purrs like a kitten now!

Changed my driver side ball joints. What a pita. Then I put it back together, went to put the brake rotor on and realized I put the dust cover on backwards. Had to take the hub back off and do it again. Took 5 hours to do one side and I broke 2 tools. Now I know how to do the passenger side though

Changed my fuel pump yesterday... Not sure if I even had an OEM one in mine when I changed it... Saw a small sticker that said "Airtex" on the top of the assembly...

Anyways, had to make some new tank hanger bolts, since the old ones snapped in two tying to remove the nuts...

It's that time of the year. Oil changed, brakes bled, Valve cover/oil pan bolts checked, and the rest of the general maintenance done.

Happy thanksgiving everyone. Be safe in your travels for the holidays.

Not much so far today. Brushed the snow off, test drove it because I felt it in 4wd yesterday, but the indicator light never came on. Bout to head over the state line to CT for thanksgiving grub.

Went to the vineyard early today and found this insanely huge transmission cooler can't wait to install it. It measures 11"x11"x1" nothing beats a stacked plate design. Also it was 7 bucks.

What kind of radiator did you go with? I'm thinking when the time comes to replace my radiator with a all aluminum one I don't like plastic tanks.

Bought 2 pairs of 3 ton jackstands and 1 pair of 6 tons that should reach my jeep a little better. I ran out of stands to put my 60/10.5 on.

Had to make some hangers for mine too! Tried to get then off for 10 minutes then said screw it and cut them off! I salvaged the top 2 inches and welded some threaded rod to it

It says you have a 1987 ..?

How do you use that filter with 3/4-16 threads?
Special adapter?

Does anyone know of a large capacity filter for the 20mm thread size?
