It is a good price...most people compare it to knock off brands for $30 bucks you can get... difference is the small notes you'll hear and of course that thing will last quite a while. I had one on my Tahoe and some on my mustang. Love em

Well today was sort of a bust. It started off great, got all the nuts and bolts to proper spec with no problems reaching the hard to get ones, then picked up a double flaring kit and it works like a dream. I stopped and helped the neighbor out for a bit while I let some more PB Blaster soak into the brake fittings since I was a couple hours ahead of what I had planned. When I went to break the lines free I couldn't find my 3/8" line wrench wrench. I managed to track one down and borrow it, but even after 3 days of PB Blaster, and a liberal application of heat the lines wont break free Looks like I am going to have to cut the lines on the rear axle and replace them. That leads to the next problem, I am 4 fittings and about 2 feet short on hard line to cover the job. Top that off with by the time I managed to find a 3/8 line wrench to borrow the place where I got the brake line from was closed for the weekend and neither of my cars are road legal right now I took the insurance off my Stealth since I park it for the winter, and the Jeep isn't ready yet. I thought i had everything I needed to finish it up this weekend, it proved me wrong
Thankfully my brother has some 3/16 brake line I can go grab later tonight or early tomorrow. If I am lucky he will have the 4 fittings I need too, but if not I can hit up Canadian Tire on my way home from his place. Still it would have been nice to have the brakes done and bled today instead of tomorrow.

Found a donor at the JY today. A better seat for Silver & I'm going back tomorrow for the rear carpet for Blue.

Blocked off the radiator with cardboard and removed the mech fan to try and combat my stuck t/stat. Heat barely works now.

Sliders are in the budget. The Jeep came with the nerf bars, so I'm keeping them on until I can afford new rock sliders. They did save my butt a few times today though. I'd rather bash up the nerf bars than the body of my XJ.
