What did you do to your Cherokee today?

Shocking
Twas time again for the rear shock change. Went again with the Monro Sensi Trac with Load Assist. Ran the 1st Load Assist set for 107000km, then the basic Sensi Tracs for the next 140000km, now back again to the Load assist. They come in pairs so you only order one box, no matter what the parts counter idget says.
They work well on the Peep and the tail end is back under control over the fall washboard roads. Seems to hinder up flex a little vs the standard shock, but the Peep is too (just rolled 698000km) old for hardcore offroadin. We pay $185 - $210 for the pair in Canada.
It picks up the Peeps back end about 1", not really a lift, just picking up the sag of age. I offered to get a set for the wife. Now I have to figure how to get that old shock out of my back end? Wish she had applied the antiseize.
Anyways a few pics. Remember Jack Stands!!!!! also anti seize is the favour you do for yourself when you have to disassemble again in the future.
I run a 1" top spacer over the barpin and I've cut and relocated/rewelded up the bottom shock mount. This maintains a stock application shock in the working range with the Peeps 3.5" rear lift.
Yes it is a block and wedge lift, both secured with bolt heads in location holes and quality ubolts, (no they are not going to fly out at 500 mph on the highway and take out and overturn a bus load of orphans driven by nuns with each and every orphan holding a puppy or kitten, obviously I've had past debates on and off forum about the block issue. Use your mechanical sense, but if you must go there, then bring it.) But enough of my pro block rant. Here's the shock and they work for the Peep every 2 to 2.5 years. My current fronts are Rancho 7000 Rubber gators on with 120000km and 2.2 yrs will try to go till spring.

Got a good start on re installing the interior today, everything from the rear seats back in in and the front carpet is laid out inside. The front carpet needs a good cleaning, but we just haven't been getting the weather to lay the carpet in the driveway and scrub it down. I might just have to make due with a dry scrub and vacuum till spring

Cleaned and re-sealed my windshield gasket and caulk. No more water is coming inside.
Removed my headlight delay relay that got wet due to the leaky windshield and burned up causing the inside of the jeep to smell like burnt plastic for a week.
Truck bed lined that rusty *** piece of steel behind the plastic shin plate under the steering wheel.
Ordered a performance curve 2.5" cat back with a flowmaster super 40 muffler and two HD hangers to replace my busted *** exhaust with a fist sized hole in the muffler.

LOL................Yeah, the first time I changed my fluid after I bought it I thought the same thing..................Why the hell do they have such huge-head bolts for the drain and fill plug?

Decided to take a weekend off from hard wheeling and did an easy trail. First trail I ever did four years ago, its been closed since the fire two and a half years ago. Last time I was up there was 2 days before the fire, but the FS opened it back up this week.
