Yup. So much easier to do when cat is piping hot. They unspun with just a lil effort. Its like the TC, easily opened when hot lol. I was also rushing so wasn't being careful to avoid the exhaust.

hmmm, o2 sensors. I really need to fix the wiring on my rear o2 sensor. it's ummm, gone.

 

I didn't say i burned th skin off. Damn jeep scientist, someone says burn and you think 3rd degree. Like us electricians hate when people say they were "electrocuted" when its really considered shocked lol

I drove her from the middle of Long Island to Summit Point, WV (just over 600 miles round-trip) for a job interview. I have to say the old girl ran strong, I averaged about 70 mph for about 5 hours, oil pressure steady at 50 and the temp never got above 210. The only glitch was about 3 hours into the drive there the voltmeter went dead and the "check gauges" light came on. When I turned her back on after the interview the gauge was back to normal and the light was off. Checked again this morning and everything is good to go. I filled up before I left and filled up again about an hour into the drive home. I checked the overhead console and it said I averaged 13 mpg. No death wobble but she "wandered" a bit, would love to tighten her up a bit. Suggestions?

 

Just got all of my parts to install the lift this weekend.. So freaking excited haha.. New springs and shocks for a 3'' lift. Should be a considerable increase since the stock setup is 16 years old.
