Iirc its all in the output shaft from the engine. Not so much the shaft but a piece that goes in between the engine and tranny. Cant remember atm

Not for the Jeep itself, but...
Ordered some parts for the trailer to go behind the Jeep... Already got some light buckets welded to it, just need to wire now... Also ordered some 7.00-16 tires and tubes for the trailer too!

Finally got around to putting a new master cylinder on tonight. Now I actually have consistent braking...just going to re bleed and call it good. Now I have to finish welding up my new receiver hitch and paint it up!

Output shaft spline nonsense is when you change transmissions and need the transfer case input gear to match up.

Negative. 4.0L is a 4.0L is a 4.0L as long as you stay within the approved family. None of this TJ/XJ ****ery (same bolt pattern, different mounting) and certainly no WJ mucking! (possibly a different bolt pattern as they only shipped with garbage Chrysler transmissions) Output shaft spline nonsense is when you change transmissions and need the transfer case input gear to match up.

First things first, replace those track bar bolts with grade 8 or metric class 10.9. The markings on those appear to be metric class 8.8 which is not hardened, and unacceptable for suspension. Couple bucks at the parts store that can easily save your life and your rig, should one of those bolts shear off.

It's really easy to take off & apart, only 2 bolts hold it in. Just try to remember how tight the nut is, because if it's too tight it will be very hard to shift into gear. & make sure you have dielectric grease to put in it
