Did plugs, cap, and rotor on the ZJ yesterday. It got rid of the CEL cyl misfire that I couldn't even tell I had with the V8. The plugs on the pass. side had a little bit of deposits/bridging issue, but they only had less than 8,000 miles on them. Short trips are harder on them than hard miles. Oh well. Guess I'll look into changing injectors next. Or having the heads done.
Also went to the muffler shop yesterday and got rid of that aggravating rattle. It was the exhaust pipe hitting the gas tank strap. Nice and quite again.

me and a buddy went to the local pick and pull... got myself some coil springs from a bronco (hope they fit) and also a pair of dakota 4x4 leaf packs for my bastard pack.
now i just gotta find a good write up on how to do the bastard pack and get to work on it!
im guessing ill get a little over 3" lift maybe even 4" dunno if it'll need a t case drop or sye yet

where do you get this por 15 ? and how well does it work? i have BAD rust in the passenger rear floor pan and i need to fix it prior to bedlining
Hey man just and FYI, if that PVC melts under your hood it can release a fatal toxin called dioxin. I would not suggest using that set up man. You would be much safer using bendable exhaust tubing instead. Not saying its going to happen but I'm not willing to risk that on me and my family.

Well not today, but this entire weekend actually. Got her washed and waxed then ushered the lovely lady to prom on friday. Saturday replaced the fan clutch. Sunday showed up my buddies blazer in a mud pit. Only in a jeep

Finished stripping the interior. Seats, trim, center console, carpet ... everything out but the dash & the wires. Darn padding has been soaking WET for 3 weeks and refused to dry even tho I had peeled back the carpet & left the doors open in the sun.
Found only 2 small areas of rust ... not bad for an 18 year old East Coast XJ. Most of the dark areas are mud.
Now the fun begins!
The naked truth:

today i decided to fix my broken hinges, it seems to happen a lot to two door cherokees. first i disconnected the power door locks/windows from the circuit board under the dash. then i unbolted the door and looked at the hinges, the hinges had been pulled away from the unibody, and the hinges we bent to crap, so i took a sledge hammer and bent the hinges back to stock location. after that i disconnected the pcm ( power control module) aka computer, the welder will fry the pcm. next i rewelded the hing and added two pices of thick metal washers to mount the hinges firmly to the unibody. this will hopefully keep the hinges from breaking again. then i went a little crazy with the cookie grinder to smooth things out. a fresh coat of paint the simply bolting everything back together. it worked beautifully! and it looks good aswell! here are some pics of what i did

today i decided to go for a bit of a photo shoot while i took an H3 out four wheeling. Yes i said i took an H3 out wheeling today- it did quite well actually. 33" tires with an ARB front bumper and a warn 9500 winch and a few extra goodies that is. Just about as capable (for an IFS) as my cherokee(kinda) for about 100 times the price lol.
mind you my front sway bar was still connected lol
