I would remove the negative battery cable and fuse also to be sure.
According to the owners manual, all parts of the airbag system are housed in the steering wheel including the sensor.
Thanks, hope job is easy

Finally got around to installing LED bulbs in the back, replaced the brake/tail lights and reverse lights! The running lights now are brighter than my brakes lights where with incandescents!

$87 for just four bulbs though. Just gotta order the front and rear turns now.

Bought some factory paint to do some touch ups and some Chassis Saver. Heard more good things than bad so we shall see. Will be working on using it as soon as it's warmer out.

Chassis Saver is outstanding, but it takes forever to dry, even in the sun. Don't apply direct heat, or it can crack like glass.

Hoping to get it on in the next week or two. Whenever KS decides to stop having bipolar weather. How long is FOREVER on dry time before driving? I planned on putting it on during a nice day and just letting it sit, not using direct heat.

24+ hours at around freezing temps. When I applied a coat to my tailgate hinges the other day, we waited 4 hours on a 65°F day with the hinges in direct sunlight. It was still showing fingerprints when touched, but it didn't feel tacky. Probably should've waited another hour or two, but the sun was setting.
