Swapped in my XJ-44, fresh outta an '87 Waggy, came with 3.55s, rebuilt the 10x2.5" drums (stops on a DIME btw), next step is 4.56s and ARB lockers.

The 8.25 had a good run, 213k and it's been screaming around right hand curves since dad bought the jeep in '96.

Threw on some MSD Super Conductor Wires and Champion copper plugs. Engine runs considerably smoother. But, it feels like I lost low end torque, but the high end is more crisp. I made sure gap was set @.035. The previous plugs ranged anywhere from .030 to .045. And, the previous wires... the wire from the coil to the cap had electrical tape wrapped around it.

Installed AutoPal (non E-code ) headlight housings with Nokya Arctic White Stage II's. 90/100. I'm actually quite pleased w/ the output and light spread (it doesn't look like two flashlights mounted to my bumper anymore, it actually fills the area in front of the jeep).

Just did my NSS last week and be prepared for the shaft from the tranny to be frozen to NSS bushing, steel to aluminum. My NSS was in about a hundred pieces before I could get the bushing free.

Never got around to showing how the new compressor was installed. Here it is, after removing the ABS module. Got to put it, the new ARB, and new rear discs to the test on the Berdoo Canyon Tail yesterday. Good fun.

Scored a set of brand new Monroe shocks that are perfect length for my lift for basically free and installed them.
