Got some new goodies for the Niner.
The last part to my audio upgrade I've been piecing together finally arrived today.
And my new Cooper AT3s arrived yesterday and I had them installed this evening. Bought online at TreadDepot, had them sent to an installer, chose NTB.
These were much needed.

Good to know! It should sound like a nice setup. I was originally going to buy 2 quality 10s for like $200, but after talking to guys on an audio forum, one of them recommended that Kenwood kit. For my needs, they said it'd be fine, however I could benefit from a better amp, plus the whole kit was like $100, so.. I also don't want to be that guy that's shaking the surrounding cars, nor do I want to tell everyone around me I have a nice setup. I'm actually in the process of making my own security shade that covers the whole cargo area.

put a new oil cap on, my old one was leaking like a summm bi***.
Also ordered a new durango steering box.
And lastly, picked up some 0 gauge wire to hook up my power inverter as soon as i find a place to hook it up.

We all get tired of the oil film/leak on top of our 4.0 Jeep aluminum valve covers. Many times the biggest culprit is the loose fitting oil filler cap. Here’s a real easy fix:
Remove the plastic oil filler cap and wrestle the original rubber gasket from it using a small pick or screwdriver.
Make a duplicate of the gasket out of an old bicycle inner tube using scissors and a knife or razor blade.
Install the duplicate on the cap first, and then the original over top of it.
It will be a tight fit on the valve cover the first time, and may require some persuasion with a pair of pliers, but will get easier with time.

Don't see your year in your post, but if it's got the aluminum valve cover, this works real well. Better than a new cap.

Probably gonna need a new battery soon. Battery was in it for God knows how long when I got it and I've had it going on 3 years, and have dumped it down to no-crank status at least 3 times. Went out to start it up this morning and it was about 35* out... thank God the motor is in decent shape and starts up easy - 'cause there were barely enough CCA's to turn it over.

Good tip and just in time too! Mine has been leakin' for a while now and I was going to replace it, but I'll try this first - thanks for posting this!

Don't forget the condition and gauge of your battery cables and plays a huge factor. You need to be able to GET the power TO the starter in order to use it. Also whether or not your starter is packed full of sludge from leaking valve covers of olde...
