What did you do to your Cherokee today?

Removed 150 lbs of rack and gear off the roof. She rides better and is much quieter.
The rack is starting to ruin the rain gutters and roof from running whoops and jumps. In OZ they have a problem with gutter mount racks from the washboard roads that are 1000 miles long.
There must be a better answer than this....

Tuesday I started to cut and fold my rear fenders. But I had to take an hour and a hammer and small prybar and and chisel the mud from my wheel wells. Filled up a large feed bucket with mud bricks. Started cutting and realised I didn't have the right hammer and couldn't find my 2 big hammers or my toolbox keys.

tried reattaching the transfer case to my transmission SOLO..need to morph into at least 2 more people to get this done! lol (95 jeep grand cherokee laredo 5.2L V8)

Went to Tire Rack and got some new rubber. General Grabber AT2's to be exact. Cant say much about the tires yet as they only have about 50 miles on them. But Tire Rack was good. Had a 10am appointment and was in and out in about an hour. The only thing I am not sure of is that they told me that they aired up to 35psi and the Grabbers are LT's so the side wall says 50psi max. I wonder if 35 is under inflated enough to cause wear problems. I will call them tomorrow and ask.

I have jeep parts on the way! ARB headlamp housings! and Amico ceramic headlamp sockets, and Hella 100/55 bulbs!!! I will see the light! woo hooo I do plan to run the 100w side through a relay so as not to overload/heat the stock wire harness and or switch

Very true on the max pressure. I just dont have info on how far under I can run them without causing wear problems. 30% under max seems very low to me but they are the experts. Given that there is no mileage warranty I would rather ask than assume. I have seen charts for larger truck tires on how much pressure to run for a given weight carrying capacity. Does anyone know if there is something similar for LT's?

Last weekend drove it out on BLM with the shotguns and tried my best to avoid the mud. (not a big fan of mud) But still got it dirty so I had to get old blue cleaned up. luckily my little brother details vehicles and fully cleaned it inside and out
