What did you do to your Cherokee today?
Threw the front sway bar back on for the trip to Big Bear Mountain. Filled my coolant up and made sure the oil was good. Cleaned up the trunk to keep things from rolling around. Took all of my gear out from the field and cleaned up the back.

My water pump sounds like Chewbacca taking a dump...its only like two years old too. Hopefully its got a lifetime warranty, might have to dig up the receipt from NAPA and check

Well, not today – but most recently (like within the pastweek):
Changed out RMS and pan gasket, CCV elbows and EmissionsVacuum tube from rear CCV to intake manifold, and new fan shroud.
The old pan gasket and RMS:

Reaally tore up the upper half ‘cause it was so stubborn:

Good tool to get the upper half out if yours is stubborn –monkey hook:

Cut off the upper tip that pierces the wall, then cut offthe lower hook end, grind the ends to keep from scratching anything and it’sthe perfect size to continue tapping farther than any straight tool would allow…I had to keep tapping until the hook wouldn’t move anymore before it would comeout. I even had a set of vice grips on the seal and was pulling on it hardenough to lift myself off the ground and it wouldn’t come out… used this andwas able to tap it out enough to remove enough friction to get it out.
No more leaks from the bottom end.
Top end was bad too – was looking like this:

CCV elbows were leaking really bad, and the emissions tubebroke off in my hand when I was trying to take it off to see if it was clogged.

That part was a PITA just to find. Ended up finally finding it here

Cleaned it all up and still leak free – now just gotta dothe valve cover gasket – which is in the garage.

Installed new fan shroud too

TODAY my brown dogs came in the mail though w00t w00t!

All i"m doing today is driving the mj to work today and maybe washing it after work. Depends on if I get a complaint from the boss about it being muddy and in the parking lot. Can someone help me out, what is usually the cause for it idling really low when it is started below 40 degrees?

Called CAA to unlock the doors when the keyless failed... turns out my keys don't work in the door. Not sure if the cylinders are seized or if my key is for another XJ as a Chevy key will start my Jeep lol.
Gonna order some new cylinders
