Did you grab the proportioning valve or at least the guts from it?

You don't really need the part but you can always get one later. It's takes a 3/4 socket to get the valve out.=

I worked on Jeep Fest trails today & got to play on the courses at home base.

Beat on it for a while, then it drove me home through a monsoon.

Installed a fast idle switch, will come in handy when I get a winch.

I know a 10cent high idle mod...

...Stick a dime under the adjuster screw for the TB lever.

Did you use the police package input to PCM?

I did but was disappointed when it went to normal idle speed when the truck starts moving. (I have a manual trans)

Kind of neat when in traffic. If left on, as soon as the truck stops moving forward, it goes back to fast idle right away... Keeps the oil flowing better and great when winching..

For you a hand throttle would be best, I kinda use mine as a cruise control at night when there's no traffic. Because F box warnings.

Funny, I didn't even think about a hand throttle... I was thinking of something way more complicated (electronic throttle ctrl or something like it)

Trying to find a way that would monitor the engine RPM and keep it to a pre-set value regardless of load... Of course that's just because Im bored right now

Mine does the same when moving. Auto trans. If i leave mine on for a while it'll cause a no bus light... All gauges stop working too. Idk, its weird.

Think so, I just installed one myself last week.

It's only active when stationary. That's how it's designed.

He does have one. First one I saw on an XJ, and it works great. I think he did a write-up.

The high idle on our ambulances are the same way. But they operate by pressing the ebrake in just a tad.

I though he had one.
