Those would be handy.

Check out OxGard for connections. Use sparingly as it is conductive.

I step away to drink beer and eat some fish and you guys have fun without me lol :P

I have some di electric in my tool box so I used that this time. Been having an issue with driver side headlight with it not always wanting to go on so I had to just do it.

I warned you guys. Even posted pics of my eaten up harness plug...

On topic, I took the top and doors off the YJ as soon as I got home from my 11 day work trip.

Looks good!

Totally off topic here, but what is that little tag on the crossmember behind the bumper for? (rad support?) I noticed one on my '99 but it was illegible and rusted off when I touched it.

I won even get their batteries...cheap yes, quality no...I just got a battery for my CJ7 from batteries plus, kinda obvious lol. But ALL they do are batteries, chargers and lights. The guys are good too, I walk in with an old one, and I have them match one up with more cranking amps, and a deep cycle (since it sits a lot) and off I go for $90. worth the extra few bucks.

There are only a few companies that build batteries in the world.. They just put whatever name and shape is requested.

if you want a good battery, make sure it has just been filled then charged for at least 6 or more hours.
Some big store that have hundreds of already filled batteries better have a very quick turn over cause as soon as those batteries are off the charge, they degrade... slooooowwwwllllyyy.. If it is warmer, they degrade even faster. For aircrafts that use Lead acid batteries, We have have to check and recharge the battery every 3 months at the most (if in a cool place and twice as often at room temp) when in storage, otherwise they will fail the capacity test 99.9% of the time...then it gets scraped/recycled..
