Took her out for a first drive after tuning it to burn at most economical air fuel ratio (15.4). Filled it up and will se Ho far this tank taks me. I noticed that under load the PCM still makes the mixture richer. I guess I won't have to re tune when I tow. If its to lean then, il set up a switch for tow / economy. More to follow.

 

How'd you tune it?

 

Installed the new 60mm throttle body. Best mod so far .

 

I have a wideband O2 sensor/gauge MTX-L from Inovate Motorsports

It has a programable analogue output that I feed into the PCM instead of the factory O2 sensor.

 

Man I gonna have to look into that!!!

 

does it make a difference for regular driving?

ohhhh yea. Holy throttle response.

Of course you also need a free flowing exhaust to see any benefit

 

It changed for me! Much less effort for speeding up. And thanks to low rpm torque I can shift earlier, and 5th gear makes sense now . It was hardly pulling if I was under 45-50 mph uphill, but in 5th gear it now accelerates greatly, even below 40.
