Completely re-wired head lights. I now have have 2 relays to run high and low beam that run directly from the battery with much larger wires. Replaced the lights with Euro Hella H4 80/100. No more sealed beams for this XJ
Had 10V at light sockets when they where on now I have 14V.
The difference is Night and Day. Makes my wife's BMW lighting looking lame now. They are such precise lighting that no oncoming traffic flashes me.
Oh yeah, installed auxilary LED lights for the daytime running light that turn on with ignition on and can be turned off inside the cab.
(Bypassed/removed the daytime running module)
Night driving is soooooo much more relaxing and safe. Highly recommended. I never liked that sealed beam junk.

Replaced the front door speakers and the tailgate speakers. Then jacked it up, took of the front wheels and gave them a bath and paint job. Could t get the lug nuts off the rear and a storm was coming so pulled the front grill off and gave that a paint job too.

I went went with the matching Hella bulbs and lights.
the lights are expensive but the bulbs are under $7.00/piece
Il see. If I don't get at least 6 month out of them, Ill go with HID kit. Lots of choices out there. They will fit right in anyway.
More research. and reviews. great.

A buddy of mine just got an injector cleaning machine. He asked if I had any old injectors he could use to practice on. I had a set of 6 Renix injectors and gave then to him. He called me yesterday and told me 5 outta 6 of the injectors leaked at the seam at 30 PSI. Whaddya think?
