Went out to figure out why it wasn't starting and it started up like a champ. So I checked charging system, all fuses and relays. All good, guess it just wanted the day off yesterday. Per recommendation ordered new cps.
i work nightshift so yesterday is my today....i think....installed thrush muffler, and new fuel pump in my 96 xj 4 litre....still hard starting unless i cycle the key on and off 4 times or so before starting, i'm a lost ball in high weeds on this one, got to find some help, 220k miles

Hehe, yep glad I found it before it was all back together. Got another manifold, so should hopefully wrap this up this evening.
I think owning a jeep is an addiction, I am already planning the next mods/fixes.

Finally got around to putting the steering back together on the 91 after 2 1/2 months on jackstands. Due to limitefunding I used parts from XJs that I have stripped in the past in an effort to at least get it road worthy. Ended up just being a waste on time because no I have VIOLENT death wobble at 40 mph. Looks like it will sit for a few more months until I can afford a heavy duty steering upgrade.

put on a new alternator and batt. Getting ready to gut the inside and patch the rust holes and use that spray on rhino liner. BTW has anyone ever used the spray on rhino liner on there jeep inside or out?
